Think Tank Skin Components Review

These pouches are unpadded and skinny that you can actually compress almost like any ordinary pouch. The Skin components are attractively designed with exterior nylon and visible honeycomb patterns, while the lining inside is the typical gray nylon fabric. The pull string with lock can be adjusted to securely close its mouth. It also has a front flap that adds protection and it is fasten with the hooks and loops (Velcro) in front.

All Skin components has a zipper in front for additional storage. Whats more, no Skin component will retreat on any abrupt change of weather since it also comes with Think Tank’s Seam-sealed rain covers.

Think Tank Skin components can certainly win the heart of street, event shooters and specially Photojournalists. It inconspicuously gives the photographer rugged+formal look while wearing the components. With the all weather features and the clever flap silencer, the Think Tank team definitely heard what photographers needs.

The only disadvantage I see now with the unpadded design is the bump and drop protection, I’m sure that it wasn’t designed for this and there are options for such features. The Skin components can be bought as a set but if you overlooked it, the Skin belt is sold separately.
